Born in the UK during the decade of disco, Kathy emigrated to Canada with her family before her first birthday. After several years in the prairies, she moved to BC and became a Canadian Citizen. Kathy enjoys life on the West Coast, yet returns to the UK every few years to visit her relatives.

Shortly after completing a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Art History from UBC in 1996, Kathy landed a product development position with a company in Richmond, and has enjoyed several years souvenir design work. Kathy now balances her days between design work at the office, teaching dog obedience classes, and spending time with family and friends.

Her love of vibrant colours and whimsical creatures has been apparent in Kathyís artwork for several years, catching the eye of many admirers. Her "Midnight Cow" series have been very popular over the last couple of years and grace the walls of many nurseries in the west coast! Another recent increase in popularity has been her "portraits" of cats and dogs done in her vibrant style. They seem to capture the character of each pet.

Kathy currently works in oil, acrylic, watercolour and oil pastel, and would love to transform many of her ideas into stained glass in the future.
